What would happen if I change a shaft graphite clubs in a stainless steel shaft?
I have a callway x20 graphite shaft Iron Set. I wanted change of the shaft stainless steel, but I think if it affect the performance of the club.
by H Terdabis "One of the main differance between graphite and steel is that the graphite shaft and shapts are a lighter, it allows you to get up to 5 mph more than extra speed. More club speed equals longer distance. Most pros use graphite for this reason. If your handicap is 15 like mine, I propose using graphite for the extra speed and distance "Graphite shafts and a lighter alow more Swing Speed, but most pros use trees of steel. They generate the swing speed on their own initiative and control of steel production, and the reactions of steel give when they swing.
