What is the difference between functional and oversized golf clubs?
The clubs I'm looking to come regularly and oversized. How do I decide what is to me? Are generally oversized for slower swing speeds for regular vs faster swings? Thank you.
I assume you mean that the heads are over-dimensioned. If this is the case, the difference is that over the size of clubs tend to be more indulgent – is that they have a larger sweet spot. Depending on how skilled a player you are, it is neither a good thing or a bad thing: if you have not stopped hitting the ball, the larger heads could help you keep the ball in the fairway more. However, you lose the ability to formulate plans. For example, I am a fairly low Handicapper, so I want to be able to control the ball shoots, disappears, goes high, low or stays. I can not do that with both clubs over size, because they cancel out the things that are running the ball as I need to.
