Why are the tour Edge Exotics so expensive?
I thought tour edge put out quality products at decent prices. But the exotics seem to cost just as much as some callaway clubs.
The increase in price is balanced (slightly) by improved materials, tightened tolerances, and of course higher status. I’ve hit the EX-1 irons and when (someday) they come down in cost, I will definitely buy a used set, I thought they were great. I’ve hit the Exotics drivers, but wasn’t impressed at all. My Tour Edge Bazooka F4 driver was way better.
Bottom line, their lower-level clubs are the best of the worst, and very usable equipment for all but the most exacting golfers. I thought the QL series was their best effort on all fronts.
