How to care for a classical guitar

Today's classical guitars are reasonably durable and easy to maintain, but they are musical instruments that are carefully assembled from exotic woods, and there are some basic care, you must follow to insure your guitar gives you many decades a sound and performance. Here are some simple guidelines.
Classical guitars are made mostly from wood of various types, and wood, is one thing to breathe life, can be strongly affected by changes in temperature and humidity. This is because that different types of wood expand and contract at different rates with changes in temperature or humidity. This expansion and contraction may affect the performance of your instrument or even make it unplayable.
To avoid the problem of temperature or humidity, you should always keep your guitar in your home in a moderate temperature. Do not store in the attic, basement, or in any other place that is no air conditioning. This is usually not a problem if you play the guitar on a regular basis, but if you plan to shelve for long periods of time to find a place in your home to store.
When transporting your guitar be aware of temperature changes and humidity. Keep it with you inside the car, do not carry in the trunk, especially if the outside temperature is particularly abnormally cold or hot. And when he arrived at a new destination, open the folder and enable it to adapt to new environment for at least one hour prior to and play. I also recommend that you do not use a soft shell case when transporting. You should keep it in a hard-shelled case. This will prevent damage.
One of the biggest concerns, you should have is the risk of accidental breakage of the neck or head adjustment your guitar. A fall, even from the ground, it can literally break in two and to avoid this, you should always be aware of how you keep your instrument in the house. I recommend you never to rest against a wall. You should always keep in a kind of stand when not in use. And if you have lots of pedestrians, or small children in your home, you should put it on a wall that keep it up and out of the track. If you want to store it on a floor stand be sure to keep in a corner of a room, and away from the door and foot traffic. A fall on a stand may break the neck of the guitar and make it unnecessary.
The oils and dirt from your hands and fingers have an adverse effect on the strings and wood of the guitar and I recommend you change channels, every three months and every month if you play on a daily basis. And when you removed the old strings, you should take a little time to examine the instrument, handle, and ankles for any signs of problems. And before re-stringing it be sure to wipe gently with a cloth soft, lint-free cloth. And never use any type of furniture on your guitar. Use only cleaning solutions specially designed guitars. You can get any instrument shop for only a few dollars.
Interview for a classical guitar is not something to be done, but there are some common sense guidelines to remember and if you follow these guidelines, you can expect from your instrument to continue to give you its best sound for a period of life.
