Body Hybrid
Are the doors or any other body panels on the 2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid made of aluminum?
I’m looking to double check a somewhat fishy explanation I got from the dealer on an item I asked them to look into on my last service visit.
When I purchased it the dealer told me the rear door/hatch was aluminum and no power lift was available as a weight saving move on the hybrid models. They didn’t tell me any of the rest of the body was aluminum.
I’m asking specifically about the Hybrid model, not the regular gas power versions.
Only the hatch is made of aluminum. The rest of the body is made of steel. There is no difference between the body of a hybrid or gas powered Yukon, Suburban, Escalade etc… They are all the same.
